Updates on the death of journalist Michael Hastings.  A Wikileaks tweet today said that Hastings contacted one of their lawyers claiming that the FBI was investigating him.  Other instances of the government going after journalists.  Cenk would like the FBI to respond to the allegations.  The NY Times obituary threw a couple of unfounded digs to Hastings’ credibility.  Geraldo Rivera tweeted that we must remember Hastings took down a great fighting general Robert Mueller, Director of the FBI, testified in front of a Senate Panel today about the government’s spying tactics.  Changing the number of terrorists events stopped with help of surveillance.  Mueller also testified that the government uses drones for surveillance on Americans.  Government coverup of the truth about the TWA 800 crash in 1996. Polls show very low public opinion of Congress and news media. Even though a Conservative Republican IRS official admitted that he consolidated Tea Party documents for efficiency purposes, many Republican elected officials spoke at an anti-IRS Tea Party rally in DC today.  The lineup of clowns included David Camp, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Louis Gohmert.  Lindsey Graham concluded that the GOP is in a demographic death spiral if they don't get immigration reform done.  Rep Dana Rohrabacher vehemently disagreed.  Twitter Storm.
