Cenk hosting today.  Latest on the Syrians agreeing to surrender their chemical weapons in a deal brought forward by the Russians.  President Obama spoke to several news outlets about how he’s happy to do it, as long as they’re not head faking.  John McCain and Lindsey Graham are pushing the idea that the threat for military action made this happen so that if something goes wrong, Obama will have the right to attack without Congress.  A CBS reporter seemingly sparked the Syrian compromise by asking John Kerry if there is anything Assad could do to avoid an American strike.  He casually responded by saying they could give away all their chemical weapons, potentially getting the ball rolling.  Now Obama and the Admin is claiming that they were talking with Russia about a compromise before Kerry slipped up.  Videos of Neil Cavuto and a Biblical scholar speculating about how Bible verses are predicting the fighting in Syria now, potentially showing that we’re in the End Times.  Cenk sees the danger in these conversations as they motivate extremist Christians to push policies to make them come true. A Sudanese woman is facing a punishment of being flogged for not wearing a hijab.  Anthony Weiner was confronted by Lawrence O’Donnell’s biting question about his desire to run for office again.  Glenn Beck is now claiming that he’s against wars because it is a progressive idea. New studies about poverty in NJ shows that the poverty to prosperity rate is 25% to 7.2% and 2 million NJ residents struggling to meet basic needs.  Research shows that many of Chris Christie’s policies cut services to the poor and gives the benefits to the rich through extreme tax cuts.  Other studies about income inequality across the country showed that the top 1% collected nearly 20% of all income in 2012 and the top top 10% took home nearly 50% of the money.
