Cenk hosting. Vladimir Putin participated in a hockey game where he was obviously the star of the game against the Sochi team. His team won 21-4 and Putin had 6 goals and 5 assists. Colonel Rob Maness is running for office in Louisiana and released an ad that had him wrestling alligators. New Jersey’s pay to play statute tries to keep corruption from running amok. One organizer put together a fundraiser for Chris Christie, but his company received a $25 million contract from the Christie Administration. He’s now running for office in Massachusetts. Louie Gohmert spoke on the House floor about how gay advocates are like Nazis, wanting to burn the books of religious people that just want the best for their country. He defines projection, right before projecting. Poll out of KY about ObamaCare popularity shows that it is losing. Oddly, the Democratic Senate candidate that touts Kentucky’s version of ObamaCare for the state is polling very well. This shows that simply based on the name, people came out against the law, but when the name is gone, the same people love it. Openly gay Mizzou football player Michael Sam has been drafted to the NFL and upon hearing the news, he cried and kissed his boyfriend on camera. Outrage from some ensued. A few NFL players took to social media to voice their opposition and disgust. A female transgender artist with a beard won EuroVision, a musical competition. Some people in several countries disputed the showing of the artist on TV. Video of Chuck Hagel addressing the military’s problem with not providing the right amount of opportunities to transgender soldiers. Apple is buying Beats by Dre for $3.2 billion and a video posted by Tyrese showed him and Dre celebrating. Marco Rubio told Jonathan Karl that he doesn’t believe in “the notion” of man made climate change, no matter what scientists say. Donald Sterling has done an interview and apologized for his comments to his fellow NBA owners, but nothing toward the players and fans. Bree Essrig and John Iadarola join Cenk for SCS. A video of Beyonce’s younger sister Solange attacking Jay-Z in an elevator has just surfaced. The video was from a surveillance camera in the elevator. Speculation about what caused Solange to flip out has begun. Boko Haram has released a tape of the captured young girls. The leader wants some of his captured fighters released in exchange for some of the kidnapped girls. Discussion over whether or not this deal should be struck. Cenk and Bree would agree to it. Video of George Will and Brit Hume mocking the participants of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign on Twitter as self-promoting. John goes over the twitter accounts of George Will, Chris Wallace, and Brit Hume to illustrate how they hashtag Benghazi all the time. Dr. Keith Ablow of Fox News disputed the teaching of 10 year old students about sex ed with an explicit book. He claimed that it will lead to kids having threesomes. A woman was arrested for public intoxication and set her phone to record the arrest. The police noticed that it was recording when they searched her bags after the arrest and charged her with unlawful wiretapping of the cops. Scientists have learned that they can induce lucid dreaming by applying a mild electric volt to a person while they are asleep. Survey showed correlations between salaries and sex lives. As automatic driving cars get closer to reality, questions about what the car will do in an emergency situation is being debated. John is in favor of giving robots a chance at things like this.
