A wealthy scientist, Christopher Keating is offering $10K to anyone that can disprove man made climate change. Cenk and Jimmy add on to the offer, making it $30K to anyone that can disprove. The FAFSA Twitter account sent out a tweet that had a meme reading, “Help me, I’m poor” and it drew the ire of many. They were attempting to humorize the situation and get students to sign up for financial aid. Ana agrees with the outrage, while Iadarola thinks we should stop taking this too seriously. A 4 year old girl foiled her 17 year old babysitter’s plot to rob her parents and blame it on a home invasion by the Black neighbors. A woman that was detained by police in the back of a squad car got loose from the handcuffs, stole her confiscated weed back, and ate it. The police discovered her actions after she was done devouring it. Whole Foods has to pay a hefty fine of $800K for selling weighed food at a heavier price than the actual food weighs. Cenk, Ana, John Iadarola, and Jimmy Dore hosting. Syria has agreed to get rid of their remaining chemical weapons after they were threatened by President Obama. Talk about everyone’s previous stances on what we should’ve done at the beginning of the chemical weapon bombing scenario. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Americans’ privacy rights by making the police obtain a search warrant before going through someone’s phone. The Obama Admin voted against this ruling. After Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro attacked President Obama for nearly everything surrounding his foreign policy, Russell Brand responded with his own internet video. Talk about how far off Pirro is with her rabid talking points. After Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King were honored by Congress, Republican and Democratic leaders held hands and sang to We Shall Overcome in a very awkward moment. The chief of staff of a Republican Congressman has resigned after a dick pic was released by his ex girlfriend via Twitter. She claimed that she wanted to teach him a lesson. Ana hates that this guy’s personal life leads to him being fired. President Obama is pushing for mandatory maternity leave, pointing out that we arent’ on the same level as developed countries in the world. Show notes by Jayar Jackson
