Cenk, Ben, John, and Wes hosting. Catfight between Rubio and Rand Paul over the normalization between the U.S. and Cuba. Video of Rand Paul speaking positively about the agreement on Thursday. Video of Sen Rubio telling Fox News that Paul doesn’t know what he’s talking about since the embargo has holes in it, which allow exchanges and travel to happen. Rubio also excused the popularity of the deal among Cubans and Cuban Americans by claiming they’re simply hoping anything will work. Rand Paul responded directly to Rubio today on Twitter by calling him an isolationist that wants to build a moat instead of ending an embargo that he admits doesn’t work. According to the IRS head, the Republican led cuts to their budget may delay tax returns to taxpayers in the next year. The reason the GOP pushed these cuts was to allow their rich donors to have less IRS audits, and let them cheat even more on their taxes. Cenk points out that this is another reason fake IRS scandals were pushed so hard, to delegitimize the agency, making it easier to cut it. Bill O’Reilly declared that he’s won the War on Christmas since he hasn’t heard of any stores that are stopping employees from saying Merry Christmas. Infamous video of O’Reilly claiming he’s covered 4 wars with a pen. President Obama has announced the creation of a panel to look into reforming police departments and their approach to interacting with their communities in less violent ways. This is some concrete action TYT was hoping Obama would take on the subject, rather than just speaking on it. Wes tells the story of being involved in a holdup in a bar.

Cara Santa Maria replaces Wes for SCS. Updates on the Sony hacks and eventual elimination of the movie The Interview. The government has announced that N. Korea was behind the hacks and threats. Discussion about Sony’s bad decision and the public reaction drastically against it. One doubter claimed that N. Korea doesn’t have the capabilities to pull off this kind of hack. In Kissimmee Florida a new theme park opens allowing children to shoot machine guns with real bullets at the park’s shooting range. In Cheraton Wyoming a dog owner was accidently shot by his dog, when the dog was playing with the gun, with the safety off, in the bed of a pick -up truck. A study from the British Medical Journal has furthered reinforced that medical shows like Dr. Oz. & The Doctors give out poor medical advice to its viewers. The European Court of Justice has made a ruling that obesity can now be classified as a disability, but a spokesperson from the National Obesity Association has concerns for the ruling, in regards of how obesity is classified as a disability and the accommodations for people who are obese.
