Cenk hosting. Rep Michael Grimm has finally resigned from his position after he was charged with 20 counts of tax evasion. Video of Grimm threatening to throw a reporter off of a balcony after being asked about his campaign finance scandals. Video of him admitting that he broke the law with tax evasion, but vowing not to resign. Today, Michael Grimm has resigned via statement. Cenk speculates that Boehner took him aside and told him he has to resign and later get a nice lobbying job. GOP Rep Scalise has been exposed for attending and speaking at a White Nationalist rally headed by David Duke. Scalise denied knowing any background of the group, called it insulting, and finally apologized today for his lack of judgement. Details of Scalise’s speech shows a direction that feeds into the racial interests of Neo-Nazis. Fox News is bashing Obama for the FDA’s plan to eliminate trans fat that is used in sprinkles, according to Breitbart.com. Videos of Fox & Friends anchor misleading the audience to believe sprinkles and other holiday snacks will be banned. The anchor and his guest took this to mean that the government will eventually tell people where to live and where to work. The Airasia flight has been found, as it crashed in the middle of the ocean where wreckage and bodies have been recovered. The autopsy of Ezell Ford, who was shot dead by LAPD, has finally been released after being held for 4 months. It showed that one of the fatal shots was close range and in his back. The police side of the story claims that Ford tried to grab the officer’s gun and his partner shot him. The sources against Ford are highlighting the trace amounts of marijuana in his system, and needlessly speculated on gang affiliations that didn’t exist. A man was busted for planning to blow up Muslim mosques and holy sites in Israel, but the story hasn’t been picked up by the media. He also hasn’t been labeled a radical terrorist against Muslims. Cenk talks about the rabid coverage that would’ve occurred if this were a Muslim man looking to blow up Christian and Jewish holy sites. Comcast has hired 40 lobbying firms to court DC politicians to help allow them to merge with Time Warner. They sweetened the deal for the elite Washington people by giving ‘priority assistance’ cards to them that would provide usable service that others won’t get. It turns out that Winston Churchill had Muslim sympathies, and even dressed up in Arab garb with his friends. Family members worried that he would convert to Islam. After running with the line that Obama ‘leads from behind’ Sen Lindsey Graham met with Netanyahu and vowed to follow his lead on the sanctions with Iran.

Ana joins Cenk for SCS. The executive from Korean Air that forced a flight to be diverted over nuts being served to her in a bag rather than on a platter, has a warrant out for her arrest. A 17 year old transgender girl committed suicide after being mercilessly bullied by classmates and parents. Her suicide letter was put up on Tumblr. Bill Cosby is calling out the character of the dozens of women that accused him of rape and sexual assault by hiring private investigators to dig things up on them. Judd Apatow went after a couple of Canadian venues that plan on letting Bill Cosby perform there at the beginning of the year. A Florida man won $3 million in the lottery, but is a listed sex offender of 2 boys back in 1999. After serving 13 months in jail, he was released. Now that it is known who he is, the two victims are coming forward to get portions of his $3 million winnings. Arrests in NYC have dropped by 66% after the officers have slowed down with enforcement, with citations for minor offenses dropping by over 90%. The head of the NYPD Union openly came out to tell officers to slow down with enforcement, to teach the residents a lesson. Cenk wants these cops to be fired. A study showed that not getting enough sleep (less than 5 hours/night) could cause a person to develop false memories. Ana points out how sleep deprivation with prisoners could provide false information or coerced information, similar to what we did with prisoners after 9-11.
