Ana and Karamo Brown replace John and Shure for SCS. A San Diego rapper has been in jail for 8 months due to his rap lyrics that correlate with gang activity. A Stanford grad is developing a dating service that focuses on significantly successful or ambitious individuals. Ben and Karamo disagree about the usefulness of this service. Duke researchers have discovered that HIV diagnoses and deaths are highest in the South. Karamo speaks about his experiences with the stigma in the South. Sky Mall is going under since more and more people are engaging in internet shopping. Ben is a big supporter of Sky Mall and defends their products. Cenk, Ben, Michael, and Iadarola host the TYT Power Panel. Cenk talks about the horrible drivers in Miami. TYT exclusive of the 99 Rise group protesting Citizens United in the Supreme Court chambers since yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the damaging decision. Video of the protest where multiple activists yelled, “One Person, One Vote.” All protesters were arrested for the outbursts. Ben asks Cenk why he thinks we need to see everything the Supreme Court is doing. The Supreme Court is debating whether or not to allow judges that get voted into their seats to accept campaign contributions, as it could affect their rulings. The House passed an anti-choice bill after a few female GOP Reps held it up due to rape and incest language that glossed over those victims’ plight. In response to the push to eliminate this rape language, radical Conservatives plan to challenge these Congresswomen in primaries. Ben is annoyed that these Reps are being labeled as moderate when their other stances are very radical. After Obama took interviews with Youtube stars, establishment media members criticized. Videos of Howard Kurtz claiming that its beneath the office of the president to sit across from them. MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow pointed out that the WH might need the exposure to the YouTube audience more than they need from Obama. Once Fox News caught wind of Arizona State’s course about the “Problem of Whiteness” they invited an offended student on to rant about it.
