After a ship carrying hundreds of migrants heading from North Africa to Europe capsized, the numbers of people killed in these crossings totals in the thousands. There are record numbers of deaths before peak season for these crossings even begun. Lindsey Graham told the Wall St. Journal that if he runs for and wins president, he may have the most Jewish Cabinet in American history since his funding would come from Jewish organizations. He inadvertently admitted that he’d do the bidding of the people that pay him. Ted Cruz and John McCain engaged in a back and forth after Ted boasted to a NH guns group that he was pressing John to pass a bill that would allow servicemen to carry guns on military bases. After McCain blasted back, Cruz reluctantly admitted that he may have misspoke on the topic. One of the police officers that quit his job when a Black mayor was elected in a small MO town has spoken to the newspaper about why he resigned. He claimed he was concerned about being able to do his job since he’s had a run in with one of the mayor’s family members in the past, that resulted in him shocking the boy with a stun gun. An off duty police officer has been found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter charges after he shot and killed a Black woman when he fired into a crowd. The judge that threw it out said the charges were not accurate to the circumstances. After the Freedom From Religion foundation announced its dispute with a small college’s practice of conducting prayers before football games, Allen West responded. Video of West claiming that when he played football, there was organized prayer, and no one was ever hurt because of it. During his 2 years playing football, his team went 1-19. Many got upset and threw the money back at him. Cara senses that it may be fake with actors providing the outrageous reactions. Update on the high rise NYC building that would allow less fortunate residents live there in 55 affordable living units. After 90K people applied for the 55 spaces, the controversy of the “Poor Door” controversy has been denied by the developing company.
