Cenk has positive news to report about his psychological well being. He usually has anxiety about crowds and accidentally pissing people off by bumping into others. On Sunday, he and his family went to 3rd St Promenade in Santa Monica where there was tons of traffic, and big crowds where collisions happened, but he was uncharacteristically calm. Ana proposes putting Cenk in a Norwegian jail for one year, where he can calm down. She has decided to not stress out about her quota at Raw Story since she’s “a fucking awesome writer.” Ana talks about how she’s constantly worried about disappointing her mother, who is the center of her universe.

Cenk hosting. Donald Trump calls John McCain a loser for being a POW and likes people that weren't captured. Cenk doesn’t think this will run Trump out of the campaign even though many people think this is the end. Cenk illustrates it with What About Bob video. Video of Marco Rubio claiming that these comments disqualify Trump from the race. Cenk also remembers when the Bush campaign insinuated that McCain had an illegitimate Black daughter to Southern voters in the 2000 primary. Mitt Romney sent a shot at Trump via Twitter, forgetting that he sought out and got Trump’s endorsement in 2008. Video of their niceties. Lindsey Graham responded by defending McCain on the loser debate, and defending illegal immigrants that Trump offended. With all of the condemnation coming from GOPers toward Trump over his disrespectful words about a decorated hero like McCain, they didn’t have as much ire when they swiftboated John Kerry in the 2004 election. Video of Jake Tapper challenging one GOP Congressman on their swiftboating. Since Donald Trump criticized McCain’s capture, some have begun talking about his deferments from the draft. Video of Trump talking about why he avoided the military. The records show that he received 5 deferments from Vietnam. Cenk details what Trump was doing while avoiding service. This year’s NetRoots’ Presidential conference with Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders was interrupted by a BlackLivesMatter protest that demanded they discuss the problems with systematic police brutality. Video of O’Malley being challenged. Cenk doesn’t think this is a good approach to get the point across. Video of Bernie Sanders being challenged and interrupted until he decided to abort his speech. O’Malley later apologized for saying “All Lives Matter.” At a surfing competition in South Africa, a competitor was attacked by a shark, but survived after swimming away and punching the shark in the head. Video of the attack and Fox and Friends’ Brian Kilmeade wondering why there wasn’t a way to clear waters of all sharks before the competition. Cenk corrects a story TYT did about Charles Krauthammer last week on the Tennessee shooter at an army recruiting location. The group misrepresented itself in its tax status, deceiving the people that donate money to them. AshleyMadison.com was hacked, revealing information of many of the customers, threatening to do more unless their demands were met to shut down the site. Discussion about what kind of group may be behind this, based on morality or just anger. After Gawker caught hell for running a story outing an executive that was being blackmailed by his secret gay prostitute, two managing editors have stepped down. Conversation about the immorality of outing a gay person for no reason. Editors at Charlie Hebdo have decided to stop making cartoons of Muhammad. Although he believes its well within their right, Cenk thinks they’re making a bad decision. A toll worker that was beloved by the people he came across was fired for paying one driver’s toll when they didn’t have the money. A single mother in Texas was arrested after leaving her kids in the food court of the mall while going off to a job interview just 30 feet away. Vanity Fair interviewed Rachel Dolezal, where she revealed she still identifies as a Black woman, but not African American.
