John leaves for SCS. Congress has neglected to vote on a 1st responder’s bill that would make the health care for the heroes of 911 permanent before it expired. Katy Perry invited a female fan up on stage during her performance in Brazil, only to be groped and kissed on in an aggressive manner. The few stories that picked the story up joked about it, which annoys Ana, since it wouldn’t be taken this way if it were a male fan groping Perry. Ben disagrees. The founder of the “Shout Your Abortion” campaign has gone into hiding after receiving tons of death threats. She openly spoke about her abortion to dispel the stigma associated with getting one. All of her info was posted online by the aggressors, too. Planned Parenthood reached out to help her find a place to lay low. One organization in the Bay Area is looking to help the dignity of the ever growing homeless problem in the cities by providing buses that have showers in them. AJ Plus video of the buses in action. A recent study showed that despite diet and exercise plans, people today have a far greater chance to be overweight than we were in the 1980s. Other factors that have changed over the last 30+ years are the culprits. Ben isn’t buying it. The Milwaukee Bucks are being sued by cheerleaders that complain of extreme wage abuse. Considering the significant amount of time they spend working for the time, the hourly wage comes out to $3.50-$4.50. Other teams have faced these lawsuits in the past, and have lost. Today, he told a crowd of supporters that if he becomes president, he’d send all the refugees back, immediately. Bernie Sanders’ campaign has accumulated 1 million online contributions, with the average being just under $25. His total fundraising is just under Hillary’s numbers. Alabama’s budget cuts have led the state to cut driver’s license capabilities in DMVs in only certain parts of the state. Those parts are counties that have a large majority of Black citizens. This driver’s license fail comes one year after the state passed strict voter ID laws, which illustrates the motivation behind these moves is to disenfranchise minority voters.
