The Young Turks: November 04, 2014

Ana joins Cenk for SCS, After fallout from Lena Dunham’s book excerpts, a psychoanalyst broke down what he thought about it. He generally gave Dunham a pass. A new internet phenom, #AlexFromTarget has received over 500K followers on Twitter. It all started with a customer taking a picture of him while working, posting that he’s cute, and it took off. A pianist is upset that a Washington Post review of his work was negatively critiqued and is featured online as soon as his name is Googled. The Post refused to take it down per his request by invoking a law that eliminates bad things from the internet. The DSM outlined what is considered deviant sexual behavior, so researchers looked into what people are actually into regarding sexual fantasies. Surprisingly high numbers of people are into fantasizing about being tied up, spanked, forced to have sex, being peed on, being ejaculated on, and filmed during sex. Women indicated that they don’t want their fantasies to come true, while men are more inclined to act on them. Show notes by Jayar Jackson

Cenk hosts TYT on Election Day. He just got excited about this previously boring election. Election day photos from politicians at polling places are shown. MO Gov. Jay Nixon’s Twitter accountt sent out a pic of him voting next to someone with significant ass crack showing. Mitch McConnell’s photo-op was photobombed by a voter giving thumbs down behind his head. Right before election day, Sheldon Adelson threw millions of dollars against a pro-medicinal marijuana Amendment in Florida to take its approval from 90% to 48%. Video: A few ads that scared the hell out of constituents with misleading statements. The RNC has spread misleading Facebook ads targeting voters by claiming that all voting is public, and in a few months, their neighbors will be able to tell if YOU didn’t vote GOP. Cat Fight between Texas KKK and Neo-Nazis that scheduled their anti-immigration rallies on the same day. The KKK pointed out that the Nazis are only against illegal immigration, while they are against legal immigration as well. After the fake IRS scandal was trumped up by Conservatives, they used it to generate tons of dark money into the political campaigns. Their ultimate goal is to intimidate the IRS from looking into the groups that they agree with, including churches. The number of pastors that openly endorsed candidates that gave them money jumped from only 33 to 1600, a textbook criminal act. Now that the IRS has been browbeaten by Conservative politicians and Conservative media, they’re afraid to move on them. Raw Story compiled the craziest moments from this year’s campaign season. Video: Bob Quast’s political ad where he promises to shoot the balls off of intruders. Joni Ernst’s shooting ad, and hog castration promise. Don Young was quoted threatening to kill an opponent that touched him. NY Rep. Michael Grimm threatened to throw a reporter off of a balcony for asking the wrong question. Jody Hice highlighted a satirical piece that outlined the Gay Manifesto, promising to take everyone’s sons to the dark side. In response, he lost it and gave a grave warning to his findings. Maine’s Gov LePage claimed that Sen Jackson gives it to the people without Vaseline. Although the stock market has more than doubled since 2009 when Obama came into office and the overall economy has done much better, his haters are not mentioning the obvious, but blaming him for nothing going wrong. This results in only 38% of people thinking the economy is in good shape. A chart shows that all this has happened with severe income inequality, as the rich received all of the recovery, so regular Americans still feel the pain. Cenk outlines some of the important governor races that are happening today based on the ones that have rejected ObamaCare to make their constituents suffer. Show notes by Jayar Jackson
